The Consortium

The idea of a
European Research Area embraces the idea of a closer integration between scientific communities, companies and researchers. The European Commission has identified in the promotion of common social and ethical values in scientific and technological matters a strategic tool to promote such an integration. The
BITE project offers a unique combination of academic centres, industries and international organisations with the aim to help industry and researchers to confront ethical issues that arise in biometrics.
